I’ve been pottering around at home, testing out some amazing dual stimulation products, satisfying my greed. But what I’ve been really missing is being thoroughly stuffed. I want to feel my walls stretched, muscles gripping tight to a shaft, lust dripping as I’m pumped hard. Enter Bestvibe UK. I was sent the Bestvibe Cupid in exchange for a fair and honest review. Controlled by a discrete button on the underside as well as a remote control, it thrusts, heats, waggles and vibrates, not to mention the firm ball sac and the pronounced glans. But would it quench my thirst? Only rigorous testing can answer that!

First impressions of the Cupid.

As seems to always be the case with Bestvibe UK, the boxed vibrator arrived in a grey postal bag, no obvious markings on the outside. The packaging itself was made of black cardboard, simply stating “Electric Dildo Multi-function” on it. Also, the box has reassuring signs that it is Latex and Phthalate free, as well as being waterproof. Inside the box it was simply packaged with a sealed plastic bag containing the product and its accessories, with the instructions slid in alongside the bag.

The Bestvibe Cupid comes packed in a hygienically sealed bag.
The dildo itself is made of silicone.

The grade I’d describe as being at the squeaky end of the spectrum rather than the draggy end. This does have the disadvantage of making it a dust magnet, as I discovered while waiting for it to charge. However, the waterproof rating of the product, IPX5, means that it’s easy to clean under low-pressure running water, just don’t submerge or jet wash it! This applies before and after play.

The bestvibe Cupid comes with a remote control, USB charging cable and instructions. Battery not included.

To charge the vibrator, there is a magnetic port on the underside of the testicles with a USB charging cable included. The orange light flashes while the product is charging, and stays steady when the battery is full. The instructions don’t state how long is required, but some digging on the website said three hours. I can confirm mine was fully charged upon my return three hours later.

The magnetic charging port is on the base of the testicles. The light will flash as it charges.
The dildo is controllable with the power button underneath the balls.

I successfully enjoyed the vibrating, oscillating thrust and heating when I initially took it for a spin. However, there is a remote control which looked much simpler for this luddite to manage, the problem with this is that I didn’t know what size battery it needed. I reached out to the team at Bestvibe and their prompt response sent me on a shopping mission. The remote control requires an MN27 battery. I was unable to find one of these in my local shops so ordered one from Amazon. The remote control is made of ABS and is not waterproof at all. If it gets grubby/sticky use a soft, damp cloth to clean it up. The range for the remote control is fifteen metres, which is quite a generous distance for fun and games.

Putting my new dildo through its paces.

Very different from a previous Bestvibe toy with similar functions – the Rattlesnake. The shaft itself is almost entirely smooth down one side, with realistic feeling veins on the other. Shutting my eyes and running my fingers down the veins, I almost feel I’ve a real cock under my skin. Aside from the mildly squeaky sensation from the silicone feeling different from the smooth, velvety flesh of a hard shaft.

I wanted to feel it inside of me and so I stuck it to the floor, mounted it elegantly.

Or with as much elegance as I could muster! With a slick of water based lube the shaft penetrated me, gliding into my depths. The insertible length is 18cm, and has a girth of 29mm, or 90mm circumference. It feels (in my hand) about average for cocks I’ve handled, and the thrust gives an extra 12mm of depth. The oscillations of the shaft (described as waggling on the product page) makes me feel fuller than otherwise expected.

There are three buttons on the remote control which works when the Cupid is ‘woken up’ by pressing and holding the power button beneath the balls.

  • The power button, in the middle, controls the thrust. There are three different patterns, each distinctively different in its rhythm.
  • The wavy line is for the vibrations and oscillating. There are nine different intensities and patterns, my favourite, as usual, is the highest intensity. The instructions state the oscillations are “switched randomly with the vibration”. This means the vibrating patterns take on the element of surprise. Perhaps its the submissive in me, but I rather enjoy the not quite knowing what is coming next.
  • The flame button controls the heating function- the temperature of this is 38 degrees. This helps trick my hand into thinking its holding a real cock. Remember those veins and how they feel authentic?

Speared by Cupid’s arrow!

There is a suction cup. It is quite strong, but as it thrust in-and-out I gripped tightly and rocked with pleasure. The cup didn’t manage to hold on. The powerful motors did their thing in the face of my vaginal vice. Something I’ve struggled to find with other budget vibrators. And when I stepped off the vibrator it rested onto its balls. The angle would have been perfect for my pleasure spots.

Manually, as a dildo rather than vibrator, the shaft enters beautifully. I used the word “glide” further up, and that is a truly fitting word. My vulva grips and labia lingers on the smooth, shiny silicone with each withdrawal, but it doesn’t give the gentle sensory feedback of a slightly more draggy silicone. I enjoy both sensations, but you may have a preference for what you like to feel.

As mentioned earlier, the shaft has a pronounced head. My expectation was that I would very much enjoy the agitation of my G-spot. Was I disappointed? Hell no! It fucked me from beneath and I was glad of my flooring choice as it repeatedly stroked my sensitive G- and U-spots. Lovely Jubbley! Paired with a wand, or other external clitoral stimulation, Cupid is handy for bringing orgasms to life with minimal effort. (Aside from the mopping up afterwards!)

Final thoughts on the Bestvibe Cupid

If you’re looking for a realistic-cock budget toy with different layers of pleasure, then give the Bestvibe Cupid a go. If, however, you want a larger dildo, with a heavily textured shaft then you may wish to check out this realistic Dildo, or a monster themed one. Of course, what you get with this dildo is vibrations, heating, waggling and thrusting. It is a toy of average size, so would be great for those new to sex toys. However, it feels bigger when working hard inside of me, so experienced toy fans might enjoy this one too.

All in all, this vibrator with four functions has had my vagina singing. The vibrations are strong enough to carry through my body, and the oscillations certainly add a different dimension. With the thrusting motion, and the moulded glans, it makes quick work of flicking my gush switch. And the heating function makes my brain forget that it’s a silicone creation. Not too big, and not too small, this particular Goldilocks has found a vibrator that is just right.
