I am so lucky to have great friends who share my love of rope. My Rope with Friends week would have been impossible if I didn’t, wouldn’t it? But what happens when your friend doesn’t tie? Well, I take matters into my own hands. And show them how to do the same thing! It seems that sharing my skills is a kink for me…
This is the sister image of a photo I shared previously, here. Sir had set me a pain task, where I really had to push myself. So I taught SWL to tie a chest harness, and encouraged her to pour wax on herself. All while doing the same things to myself. This led to a very challenging but satisfying afternoon. Hopefully for both of us.
Life teaches us some strange lessons at times. Through my love of rope I have discovered that I can bring things out in other people. And they, in turn, do the same for me.
