Have I mentioned that I had a fabulously quiet Christmas? Part of that included a trip out with Loki. We’d originally planned for a Boxing day yomp across the moor, but with my recovery being slow we decided to head for lunch and a little stroll instead. It’s very rare that we take a trip and don’t have a topless adventure, and this time we were, quite literally, chasing rainbows! It was quite a trip, all the time chattering about everything under the sun, as friends do. Then we settled in for a hot meal in a restaurant- there may be a theme emerging as I often seem to eat out with him.
While we ate lunch it dawned on me where we were.
Just down the road from Dartmoor prison. And whereas normally we’d take off in the opposite direction, I wondered if, perhaps, we could wander down and capture the location for the Scavenger Hunt. Loki wasn’t so sure we’d be able to do this. CCTV coverage and privacy concerns around prisons meant for an edgy walk up and back. We stopped at the prison museum, scoping that out for possibilities. But the CCTV was there too, and, well, it wasn’t the actual location that I wanted. (Museums are on my list, but I have another plan for this. You’ll just have to wait and find out what that may be.)
We took a slow walk back towards the town and he vetoed each of my spots, they were all too open, too exposed. But when we reached the pedestrian entrance again and, with my back to the camera pointing over the wall, I made my chance.
I’m so glad my topless adventure didn’t land me inside the prison!
It is a shame there are no prisons near me where I could do this inside. Unlike Sub Bee, who was Locked Up on a trip to Estonia when they paid a visit to Patarei prison. A gorgeous image of this devastating location, I can understand why they would have felt emotional witnessing the brutality of history while being up close and personal.
Topless Adventure At The Prison is my 94th addition to my Scavenger Hunt. An older post you might enjoy, which also required lots of boldness, is An Exhibitionist Crossing.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.

Very cool, those types of photos are so fun to try and do, it’s risk vs reward that makes it so fun.
“Risk vs reward” sums it up perfectly, in fact, I may borrow this phrase for myself.
This past summer we tried taking several public nude photos with road signs. Risky, yes, rewarding when caught a few times. Feeling liberated = reward. You understand. 🙂
I absolutely get it. Brave, bold work. Well done!
What a great notch for your Scavenger Hunt. Go you!

Prisons are pesky locations aren’t they? Well done for managing to grab an active one, I’m super impressed!
The photos and location are amazing.
Busy place.
Fortunately it didn’t get immediately busier once I’d exposed myself!
