How on earth did this happen? I’m in grave danger of feeling festive! Do you think dining out with Loki has anything to do with it? Or perhaps being largely cut off from societal expectations for the last few weeks? Well, whatever it is, I’m pleased to be grinning as the festivities draw near. (This was taken a week or so ago, and I can confirm- I’m still smiling!)
I don’t visit pubs often, so while this has been on my sought after list I just haven’t been able to complete it. But an evening with Loki always inspires mischief of some sort or another and so, the evening took a natural turn…
As I’m sure you can imagine, there were some Christmas parties booked in. Though it looks quiet in the picture, there were internal windows and full tables galore. Loki initially declined to help. His reaction was totally understandably as there were children. They would have been clearly in shot as they sat beside the tree. I completely understood his thoughts. But our food took a while and the family suddenly packed up and left the pub.
Now then, the game was on.
Well, just as soon as they had filed into their massive taxi and departed. My seat faced the window, and more importantly, the taxi bay! Patience, laughter, a bite of dinner and… go, go, go!
Cue lots of laughter from the pair of us.
There is another pair that I can imagine laughing their way through the hunt when they participated. I’ve been enjoying Master T’s weekly Chivas tweets, and I always love Marie’s scavenger hunt posts. It seems only natural to include their photography (and Marie’s pub flash) as my perfect partner this week. I love the sense of risk that she conveys, describing the bar and its location.
Dining Out With Loki is my 92nd Scavenger Hunt location. He and I have a lot of fun on our adventures. You might enjoy this one: A Ferry Good Idea.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.
This is a great image and damn, that smile of yours just always makes me smile too. Thank you for highlighting my image 🙂

Thank you Marie. A contagious smile is always a good thing! It’s always a pleasure to highlight your posts, you inspire me in so many ways N xx
That smile says everything about the Scavenger Hunt, cheeky and fun! And well done for getting that location, it’s not the easiest one to achieve.
It is one that, on paper, seems to be an easy option. But the reality is something entirely different.
Thank you so much for reviving the meme. It is such a happy place to join in.
