Underneath The Streetlights

Underneath the streetlights shows a collage of images. The left side shows a woman pulling her top up to expose her breasts beneath a solar powered street lamp. The right image explains that the Lyn valley society sold 1500 books to raise funds for the light.

Seeing how last week I was keeping a lookout for new locations I thought I would stay in North Devon. SWL and I took the cliff railway down from Lynton to Lynmouth, but the queue for the return journey was loooonnnggg. I suggested we walk back up the footpath instead. The trek certainly got the blood flowing, it’s a long old walk- up, up and away! It wasn’t just people walking down the path that we passed. I couldn’t help but expose myself underneath the streetlights along the way.

I’ve wanted to get this location for a while now, but have never found one that interested me. I’m not entirely sure what I had in mind, perhaps some romanticised idea of old fashioned gas lamps? Whatever, they weren’t forthcoming. This one got me really excited though. Stopping to read the sign beneath the streetlights we saw that the community had come together to raise funds and invest in their town.

Checking out the other scavengers posts I think I may have spotted the kind of lamp I had in mind. Modesty Beneath The Street Lights shares K in all her glory underneath a wonderful vintage style lamp. This was her 30th find, back in 2014. She never fails to inspire me with her fun locations, mischievous delivery and wonderful views!

Scavenger Hunt Bronze

Underneath The Streetlights is my 85th scavenger Hunt Location. You can find them all here. This isn’t the first time I’ve found a location which includes fund raising. The Telephone Box I was shown houses a book stall raising money for a local hospice.
