On The Lookout For Locations

on the lookout for locations a blonde lady looks out to sea through a telescope. She's wrapped up against the inclement weather except for her exposed breasts. There is a backdrop of a rocky hill.

After a few weeks of being distracted by older photos and important messages I’m returning to the North Devon Coast with SWL. We were on the lookout for locations during our trip, and this tourist telescope was the perfect spot to hunt some down. With the leaden skies and cold, damp air, you’d be forgiven for thinking that we’d be miserable. But NO! A little public exposure is the perfect antidote for inclement weather. That and the steaming mug of tea we were looking forward to on our return to the car.

This was a scenic overlook at the valley of the rocks.

This is a short drive from our camping ground. This stretch of coast is where Exmoor tumbles into the Bristol Channel, and in this valley the ground is- quite literally- littered with rocks. There was also a large number of goats and fellow sightseers. The former was welcome, the latter brought about challenges when it came to flashing on this busy path.

Do you see that rocky outcrop behind me? Bunny Goals. I’d love to return here with Loki for some rope at some point. Though I dare say that pesky footfall may put paid to that idea.

I’m not the only one on the look out for locations.

This week I’d like to highlight Molly’s post Out On The Edge. It seems fitting as this find brings me level with her with my 83rd post. But also, the Clifton Suspension bridge spans the River Avon shortly before it spews out into the channel I’m looking out over. Also, Bristol, as a city, has always held a very special place in my heart, and this glorious view makes me want to return. I definitely missed that and need to rectify the situation ASAP.

Scavenger Hunt Bronze

On The Lookout For Locations is my 83rd Location for my Scavenger Hunt. I have another find featuring big rocks, my second addition to the hunt: Never Lose your Sense Of Wonder.
