Who has been busy Beavering away? Me, that’s who! Barely a moment to catch my breath, let alone wank. Fortunately I have commitments to companies for reviewing products and so I simply HAVE to pleasure myself from time to time (to time). And my luck continues, as Funzze have sent me another product that I hope will hit the spot: The Eggplant Vibrator.
Before starting on the product review I really want to celebrate the use of inclusive language on the Funzze website. Unlike so many of their wallet friendly brands, Funzze do not gender their products. Instead using the actual name for the body part each product is designed to stimulate. You can find a prostate massager rather than a “butt plug for him”. You can find a clit stimulator instead of a “mini personal massager for her”. While some of the descriptions do use gender, the new products are being much more carefully written about. This makes a refreshing change for me and I wanted to share but, for now…
Let’s get busy with the Eggplant vibrator!
Having read the reviews online I was delighted to see one happy customer states: “O.M.G!!!! If I had to pick one toy and throw the rest away, this would be the one I kept!!! My husband has officially nicknamed it the f$k-me silly toy”
Arriving in a plain, grey plastic mailbag, I smiled to find the customary Funzze packaging of plain, cardboard box inside. I appreciate the no frills approach, as I’ve mentioned before with the Orgasm Monster review. The products always arrive in immaculate condition, yet fancy packaging costs aren’t being handed to me alongside the toy. Opening that I found the toy, in its own plastic bag, a fabric toy bag, USB magnetic charger and instructions.
If you’ve not seen this product before, you could be mistaken for thinking I received a bulbous, purple sex toy, which would split me wide and turn me into a puddle of girl goo and, to some extent, you’d be correct. The deep purple of the vibrator oozes luxury, the firm silicone reassuringly weighty in my hands. But while the phallic internal arm is a generous size for a dual stimulation vibrator, it didn’t have the shape of an Aubergine. While I imagine that kind of shape to be immensely satisfying, only as part of a scene much bigger than a quick orgasm before sleep.
Preparing for play.
Charging takes in the region of two to three hours, and gives one to two hours of play time, depending on the intensities you prefer. And there are a lot of patterns and intensities to scroll through. I counted ten for each arm. Throw the heating mode into the mix and you’ve got a lot of ways to use the charge. Each arm is controlled separately so it would be possible to have the clitoral stimulation running without the penetrative, thrusting vibrations, and vice-versa. Or use them both together for one hectic experience.
Mind you, I say clitoral and internal arms. As always I would urge you to find your own ways of using any toy you own. The website shows the Aubergine vibrator can be used as a double ended dildo, vaginal-to-vaginal as well as vaginal-to-anal. I would add anal-to-anal into the mix too, but then I’m a fan of butt stuff. Now then, where was I? Oh yes… I was about to get busy with the Eggplant vibrator!
With the light turning steady rather than flashing, my new sex toy was ready when I found myself a little time. Which didn’t take long to find. Shower time between a run and school pick up was all the opportunity I needed. But busy bees sometimes have to wing it… I hungrily powered up the vibrator before inserting it. At this point I hadn’t read the instructions or online description, aside from noticing the waterproof rating (IP65). Well, if I can wash it in flowing water (with soap or anti bacterial cleaner) then I can hop in the shower with it.
The Eggplant bends and flexes in many directions, making it easy to anchor into place. This came in very useful when, while massaging the conditioner into my hair with one hand I reached down to change the vibrations. The whole toy started thrusting in and out of my vagina, lodged in place solely by the clit stim, rolled over to stimulate my nub, being wedged between my labia. After my first foray onto Aubergine fucking I decided to dig deeper into the vibrator.
With a a girth of 10.5cm, diameter of 3,34cm and an insertable length of 15cm, the larger arm is not something to take lightly. As I mentioned, currently my play times are often short affairs. Without time to warm up it’s extra important (for me) to use water-based lubricant to ease it into place. Not that the silicone isn’t smooth, it really does glide into place. It just makes things easier if the route is slick.
What was I slicking myself up for?
The ten patterns of internal pleasure come from the top half of the shaft. The shaft is lightly jointed in the middle meaning the motion is a come-hither stroking rather than the conventional thrust. That explains why it managed to stay so well positioned as I stood hands-free under the shower! And why it felt sooooo good against my G-spot.
The clitoral arm has the more traditional vibration, three at increasing intensity followed by seven patterns. It has a top end buzz rather than a low end rumble. With some toys this buzzing can make my hand go a little numb but not the Eggplant. My fingers were singing, if that’s something fingers can do. The arm’s very flexible, rotating outwards, rolls up and even be (almost) folding in half for pinpoint accuracy.

Never too busy for the Eggplant vibrator.
Having got to grips with the toy, literally, it was time to test the pleasure levels again. Waking up the vibrator and shaping the arms into what I felt would work, I slicked up again. With the larger shaft fucking away in side me I worked on the flexible slender stimulator. Curling it round I teased the top of my clit with the tip of the toy. Turning it to one side slightly it rested between my clitoral hood and labia. Bending it right round I rimmed my asshole with it. Then pressed it firmly in – inspired by the website imagery. Have no fear, the slender shaft works well at so many angles and no, it didn’t snap off.
The next thing to try was anal with the larger shaft and extending the narrow arm to stimulate the clit. This worked really well for me. One reason I’m always on the lookout for the perfect rabbit is because I have a longer-than-generally-catered-for vag-to-clit measurement. I experienced no such frustrations with the Eggplant Vibrator.
The vibrations in the tip and the thrusting in the shaft work well for me, separately as well as together. I really found the combination fun, my orgasms quite unlike normal release. They sort of crept up on me. The confusion in and around the nerves of my sex can’t keep up and surrender is the only option. Odd really as I’m not normally one for patterns, preferring the simplicity of a constant thrum of sensation.

As always I have enjoyed working with Funzze. They deliver sex toys in a discrete way without adding unnecessary glitz and glam. As a single mum, finding brands that provide quality products which are also budget friendly is a real bonus. The changes they’re making to product pages and menus on the site are also great to see.
I found the Eggplant vibrator to be satisfyingly filling and incredibly busy in the sensation stakes. Aside from using each end independently I couldn’t find a way for it to sit still. This worked well, if somewhat unexpectedly, for me. However, if you like steady, static vibrations this product may not be for you.
With all the bendy bits, it really is incredibly versatile. As discussed earlier it lends itself well to partnered play, for my solo explorations it really hits the spots. And I mean… all of them! Even after a few weeks of regular testing, the joints feel firm and secure.
In my quest to find the dual stimulation vibrator of my dreams, perhaps I’ve found one to get busy with time and again. It certainly has got my juices flowing, and will take some beating.
