I first learnt of HoneySX last summer when they sent me the Mini Banana to review. I was delighted when they got in touch again, inviting me to choose a couple of items from their website in exchange for a fair and honest review. Today I would like to share with you my experience with my first choice: the Erocome Canesvenatici Rabbit Vibrator.

HoneySX got in touch over the summer and asked if I’d like to test a product or two for them. Spotting their range of rabbits, I decided that now was the time to return to my mission. To find a replacement for my first vibrating sex toy. Having reviewed their Mini Banana vibrator last Autumn I was curious to see what their offerings would be like.

What were my first impressions?

Inside the plain grey plastic postal bag, was a sleek and stylish white box. The front and ends emblazoned with Erocome in silver lettering, and the side displays the selling points of the contents. Opening the box at one end I found the moulded plastic insert which slid out, revealing the rabbit vibrator, charging cable and instructions.

The Canesvenatici rabbit vibrator is described as a deep rose colour. The handle houses the charging port, battery and power buttons, and is separated from the main shaft of the toy by a chrome-plated band. The rabbit ears protrude from just above this band and the shaft stretches up, curving as it goes with a mobile indent just above the fold between the ears and the shaft.

There are two motors, one in the ears, the other controlling the main shaft and flappy g-spot button. It also has a heated tip, which warms to forty two degrees. With these functions in mind it’s easy to see why a two-and-a-half-hour charge gives one hour of usage. It’s a very busy battery!

Aside from the chrome-plated band and the charging points, the exterior of the Canesvenatici is made entirely of silicone. The silicone outer makes it easy to clean, with anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner, and warm water. While the box, website and instruction manual state that it is waterproof I have been unable to find what the rating is. This means I can’t tell you if it is definitely submergible or just splash proof. What I can tell you is that I’ve washed in a sink full of soapy water, with a five-minute soak, and no obvious harm has come to it.

What about the dimensions of the Canesvenatici rabbit vibrator.

From the charging port at the very bottom to the tip measures 25cm, with an insertable length of 12cm. The ears part of this toy measure 7.5cm on the clit facing shaft. It seems that my vaginal opening to clitoris measurement could be described as longer than “normal” by sex toy designers. I often find the tips of ears uncomfortably poke the skin between my clitoris and urethra so I was looking forward to testing the length and flex of the Canesvenatici rabbit vibrator ears.

Canesvenatici Rabbit Vibrator has a soft button in the middle of the shaft with a flappy knob behind it.

The website states that the G-spot stimulator has a flapping mode. This comes from a central motor underneath a softer round button. It feels like there is a little knob, under the soft silicone covering, which moves from side to side. The button is 2.5cm in diameter, the centre is 4cm up from the fold. The girth at the button is 10.5cm (3.4cm diameter) with a maximum circumference of 11.5cm at the heated tip. (Or 3.7cm diameter)

On the subject of the heated tip, I was surprised to find the silicone covering quite loose there. It is very pinch-able and makes a faintly scrunchy sound. It reminds me a little of a used condom, on a hard cock, albeit a lot thicker. While not unpleasant, it is different to what I am used to so worth noting here. When pinched and squeezed, this takes a little while to return to its original shape.

How does it work?

The USB charging cable has a two-point magnetic port which attaches to the base of the handle. When plugged in and charging it flashes brightly, once the battery is full it glows until the power source is removed. It is very bright!

Once mine had finished charging I got to know the buttons. I have discovered that I can’t just wing it, especially when there are multiple functions. There are three buttons. The centre one controls the central motor; press and hold for three seconds and it turns on. Then there are five intensity levels to scroll through. Next I pressed the bottom button for two, with the zigzag imprinted on it. This one controls the ears, and you can scroll through three intensities again, but this is followed by five patterns.

The top button is where things get a bit trickier.

For my brain at least. It does not work independently, one of the other motors needs to be powered up in order to activate this one. When the main shaft is vibrating, press and hold (for three) the electricity symbol. It will glow red and the tip begins to heat. Grasping the squishy end in my fist I soon felt the heat seep through into my hand. This is my first heated toy that has become noticeably warm. It does reduce the power to the central motor slightly. However, I’m not sure the difference is big enough to notice during play.

Next up I tested it out with the motor in the ears vibrating.

A quick press of the electric symbol saw it start flashing with the white light. Boost mode had been activated and the ear vibrations intensified for ten seconds before returning to their original setting.

Barefoot-proof instructions:

  • Central button: Press and hold for three, scroll through five intensities.
  • Bottom button: Press and hold for two, scroll through three intensities and five patterns.
  • Top button (when rest of toy is activated): Press and hold for three to heat. Short press to start boost mode on the ears.

Now it was time to test the Canesvenatici rabbit vibrator…

Having powered up the central motor and heated tip I added a slick of water based lube. The heated tip felt beautifully warm as I explored my folds, nudging and teasing myself. Holding the ears out of the way I tried the flappy button on my clit and I could feel the power behind the knob.

The lubricated end slid into my vagina easily, and I was delighted to discover that the flexible ears were not only long enough to reach my clit, they also embraced it. Pressing the bottom button to set them going I enjoyed the feel of the vibrations, the ears cupping my- by now engorged- clitoris beneath their vibrating length. The ears had soft flexibility, and they slid around the sensitive nub of flesh, easing between that and my clitoral hood.

The combination of vibrations in the ears and main shaft did feel great

…though I couldn’t quite tip myself over the edge to a blended orgasm. It should be noted that I am thick-skinned and so use pleasure as my measure, and this gives that by the bucket load. However, with the option to add a boost I thought we might be onto something. Pressing it firmly the ears erupted. The build was incredible, my clit felt like it was about to explode into a galaxy of stars… But then the ten seconds was up. It had been wonderfully intense but not quite long enough for this stubborn clit to roar.

The flappy g-spot stimulator felt amazing.

…but anatomically I didn’t find it hit the advertised spot. As I found with the Angels Wings, it did stimulate my urethra, which is not a complaint as I love this spot to be sensitised. I also found that as my pleasure increased so did the pressure on the shaft. My internal muscles can, and do, stop the flappy motor in its tracks. This could be another reason I couldn’t quite achieve climax in boost mode. However, I am well aware that my body takes its own sweet time and doesn’t like to be rushed. (Unless Sir is at the helm, in which case it does exactly what it’s told!)

Sadly, I’ve been unable to test this out on one of my lovely, vulva owning playmates as yet so can’t share the results. But when I do I shall be sure to update the review.

Would I purchase the Canesvenatici rabbit vibrator?

This rabbit has many redeeming features. The long, flexible ears delivering powerful vibrations up, over and around my clit. The heated tip is blissful when massaging externally as well as during internal stimulation. The length, girth and combination of patterns and intensities brings a lot of pleasure to my body. Especially on my urethra! The fact that I’ve (so far) not achieved orgasm wouldn’t stop me buying this. Rabbits are notoriously (in my hands) tricky in this regard, and sometimes it’s just nice to play with sensations. However, the power behind the central motor, or specifically the flappy knob, isn’t enough to withstand the pressure of my internal workings, and the boost mode isn’t quite long enough. But these two are very personal, subjective reasons.

So, my hunt for the perfect rabbit vibrator continues.
