Feeling sexy is a hard won right for me. It dawned on me that 60% of my adult life was spent being made to feel less than desirable, and the last eight years have been a rollercoaster ride of growth and body confidence.

While I feel most sexy and comfortable naked sometimes it’s nice to buy myself some new lingerie. I lust after the gorgeous lines available across the internet, drool over the elegant fabrics. When I think about my financial history, and the cost-of-living crisis, I know my priorities lie elsewhere.

While these didn’t pass the all-important run test- they were baggy in the gusset- I do love the feel of the £3.50 briefs from Peacocks. I could stroke them for days, which isn’t altogether helpful when I’m stacked up with work. But when the work involves writing a post for the 600th week of Sinful Sunday I think I can get away with feeling sexy and stroking, don’t you?

Is it possible to be Feeling Sexy On A Budget? There isn’t much cheaper than naked, but even this exhibitionist knows it’s nice to have options. I’d love to hear your tips and tricks for wallet friendly ways to top up on internal sex appeal. Drop me a comment below or get in touch!

  1. Slipping on my stockings works for me .that makes me feel amazing.
Then sharing pictures with special friends of my body and knowing they enjoy seeing it , well thats a treat.

  2. They look absolutely fabulous on you. As for feeling sexy on a budget…. it is HARD in my opinion especially if you want to try to shop for clothes ethically. I do absolutely love a charity shop and have definitely found my sexy negligee type things over the years but sadly underwear is not one of those things you usually see in charity shops.

    1. I only have a small selection of clothes, mostly sourced in charity shops or hand made. Underwear I do but new (and wear it for as long as it is intact, which isn’t always sexy) but as you say, shopping ethically on a budget can be a real challenge. Not insurmountable but tricky
