The December prompt for Sinful Sunday is Colour Pop. I’ve very limited experience of creating my own images in this style, but was really looking forward to giving it a go. The following quote is quite fitting for me, after all:
Boldly dare to be a pop of colour in a black and white world.
But then I became unwell.
Again?
Again!
While I’ve not lost my sense of humour I’ve been inhabiting a black and white world. So it was time to lean on others for a splash. It’s times like this you realise who the really decent folks are.
Today I’m sharing an image from earlier in the year with a great photographer- Purple Gecko. Scrolling through the edits I found what I thought I’d imagined in my fever-induced dreams. There I was! Wrapped in caution tape, sprawled on the studio floor. Rarely is there a more fitting image for how I’m feeling that this one.
It only seems right to share this as my isolation period comes to an end. Hopefully the fresh air I’m allowed to get from tomorrow and the Colour Pop will combine to make the kick up the arse my body needs for a fresh start.
Another pop of colour that I discovered for my black and white world is that I made it onto Molly’s top 100 sex blogs. This year I gained three places on last, rising from 47th in 2020 to 44th.
Colour Pop- Calling On Others isn’t the first time I’ve shared a photographer’s amazing editing skills. My first image in this style was made with Tony James who I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few times now. (Here is his tag) Check out this post from a couple of years ago- A Writer Is Always Writing For Someone.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.
This is really beautiful!
ohhhhh, this is really good! Beautiful and creative. Thank you.
Oh no I am sorry to hear you have been poorly. It seems so many people are at the moment.
I love the use of caution tape, looks fantastic and works well for this weeks prompt.
You too!? This isolation really sucks! But this image is gorgeous, I love the subtle pop of the yellow.
What a brilliant use of the colour splash, it is a really striking image. Feel better soon!
This is a fabulous image. So sorry you haven’t been well, get well soon xx
Wow, that’s a stunning color splash!
