Ferris Wheel – February Photo Fest 2025

When SWL and I took a trip to London last year, I really wanted to go on the Eye. Hilarious as normally I avoid going on a Ferris wheel. Of all the rides at the fair, this is the one that scares me. Naturally, we thought we’d attempt to get the location for my Scavenger Hunt. We got lots of lovely family friendly shots, but managed to get the timing and angles just right for an ethical exposure.

Thinking on the family playlists, the boys reintroduced me to Imagine Dragons, and in my Smart Shuffle their song – Ferris Wheel – popped up. Having barked out Sharks and Bones, imagine my surprise at the lovely tune. The lyrics too. Beautiful. Everyone should have someone in their world who makes them feel like they’re on a Ferris Wheel – young and innocent, cared for and comforted.

February Photo Fest 2025
For 2025 I wanted to try something different to previous years.

Music has always been a big part of my world, and over the last few years I’ve been building a Spotify playlist of songs that inspire my kinky brain. Coupled with my ever growing family playlists, where I’ve been introduced to new tunes (some being better than others), and talking tunes with friends – old and new, I thought it was about time I used that inspiration for good!

It turns out this was quite a good idea.

I have recently changed jobs and find myself with even less time!!! But I promised myself – in the post “Packing Up Or A Special Delivery” that I would do my best to share for February Photo Fest this year. So I hope you enjoy my efforts. Perhaps you’ll find a new musical genre to enjoy! Please let me know in the comments any alternative pieces that would work for the picture. I’m always happy to add new songs to my playlists.
