When I shared Floor Rope for Sinful Sunday’s prompt week I mentioned I’d originally planned on using another image. Well, this is it. The polka dots on my legs were created by Dr Lovelace, when we had a wax play session mid-2018.

I’ve said it so many times, I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing friends I have. Great people who share in my kinks, and enjoy my quirky sense of humour. People who hold me up when I’m falling down. Also, and perhaps most importantly, they allow me to hold them up when they struggle too.
As I look at these UV wax polka dots, my legs and the shirt of the woman responsible for my giggles’n’wriggles, I’m reminded of something I often forget.
Did you know, I’m actually a fairly resilient woman.
There have been many things that have cropped up in my world yet, time and again, I climb back up. Out of my pit. While previously I may have done this on my own, now I ask for help. Take hold of the hands offered for support, given with love and kindness. It’s true, I like having space when I’m dark and struggling. But I also know that I can still be strong, independent, bloody-minded and resilient, even when I ask for help.
