So, 2022 was quite a year. I find myself wondering what the coming year will have in store for me. For all of us. Some plans are already coming together- work, family, social. Other than these I’m wide open for 2023 and the experiences I will have throughout the year.
When I get to the first of January 2024, what will I be able to look back on in wonder.
I’m sure there will be rope, lots of rope! And pictures that make me gasp with the memory- like the header image above. It was with great interest that I looked back at last year, pondered my greatest achievement as the fireworks fizzed and banged overhead in the small hours of January first. I was surprised at what made my heart swell with pride. My trip to Paris was the only blog- friendly example I have. For someone so confident in many areas, and considering my wanderlust, travelling is surprisingly scary! But I’ve started the ball rolling, and now I have further plans afoot.
And with 2023 wide open before us, having a blank page to doodle in is exciting.
I’m sure there will be new people in my world, new kinky experiences, lots of learning. There are places to explore, Scavenger Hunt pictures to create, dancefloors to polish, adventures to have, experiences to fill my soul. Sometimes I’ll be with family, other times I’ll be with friends. But I must not forget to keep some of these experiences just for me.
I can’t tell you what these adventures will be. There are some actual plans in the offing- I always keep for sharing with my inner circle of friends and family. But these moments of plotting are limited and mostly I just wing it.
I don’t have a list as such, though I do have one big objective for the year- which will be completed in February! What have you got in store for this year? Do let me know in the comments, maybe you can inspire one of my adventures!

I’m hoping to travel this year, both for relaxation and to visit family (which are very different kinds of travel for me — my family is NOT relaxing!). The only other real ‘plan’ I have is to work on my health; 2022 was The Year of the Doctor for me what with catching up on things and dealing with unexpected problems, and I really do NOT want a repeat!
I’m with you on family travel and holidays being entirely seperate. I really hope you have a healthy year this year, the post-covid catch up on medical stuff has kept me busy too, not to mention the surprises.

This year is about learning how to be me and what that actually means, there will be plenty of fun along the way!

For 2023 I hope to make more with my hands. Tangible things out of iron or leather, possibly wood.
I want to get back to tying knots then applying that to my partner with shibari.
