Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

Baby it's cold outside header shows me in a hot sauna where I am exposing my breasts for the scavenger hunt.

Goodness, gracious me, it’s cold outside!

I appreciate that, compared to many of you who may be reading this the cold snap in the South West of the UK may not be that chilly but for this Southern Softie -2 is bitterly cold. Dare I say it, I’ve even resorted to tights this morning. An incredibly rare occurrence. He likes bare legs under my skirt, but I have permission to use my discretion. Back home after the school run I’ve made a cup of tea and am sitting, cosy in a nest of blankets, looking back through images for one I might like to share for the Scavenger Hunt or Boobday.

If it’s cold outside now, it certainly wasn’t cold inside when I took the above shot. A “hello” to Sir as I eased off after an intense session at the gym, possibly as I prepared for my triathlon? Stretching out in the heat is blissful. I love doing a spot of yoga in the sauna, while I have the space to myself anyway. And when I don’t… people always seem really friendly and will open up about their lives. Often without being asked.

Personally, I used to get grumpy n the heat and the cold. But after running through the past five summers I’ve become acclimatised to the heat. (Again, Devon heat is not the extreme some of you will endure in your hotter months.) However, I can’t shake the feeling of general arsey-ness when the mercury drops and the ice forms on windscreens. I’m glad that I rediscovered this image. Not only so I can share it here, but because I had forgotten that the Sauna was available. I may well head up to the centre soon, slip into something less comfortable and heat myself through.

Sub Bee found a Steam Room and shared their photographic antics in the post Hot and Steamy. Which got me wondering, when it gets cold outside what is your favourite way of warming up?

And just in case you need some inspiration…
