Don’t you think this summer has been “hotter than a snake’s ass in a wagon rut.” (Robin Williams) It certainly has been in Devon, the relentless heat leading to drought and seriously depleted reservoirs. For such a damp county this has been a shock to my system. Fortunately, I’ve started to enjoy summer over the last five years and so I haven’t been a big ole grump. But autumn, my favourite season, has brought me so much joy.
The wind, the rain, the softer grass underfoot. Even the arrival of a hay wagon, in this case the driver is resting before making his return journey to Wiltshire, having delivered stores locally to me. To the farmers who’ve been unable to grow sufficient due to the extreme weather. Extreme for the UK at least.
The ground is not such a vibrant green as I’d expect to see in early October. It’s a good job I’m on hand to brighten the surroundings. A big grin and a flash of breasts. While we were stood on the edge of a previous Scavenger Hunt find, it wasn’t until much later that I spotted the golfer. Can you see them, taking a swing in the background…? Whacking (is that the right term) their ball into the gusts as the wind howled across the moor, blowing the leftover hay from the wagon trailer into the carpark.
Wagon Ruts And Hay Trucks is my 111th Scavenger Hunt location. There are no other hunters with active blogs who have shared this particular find, but do go and check out Telephone Sex, which Honey posted back in April, eighteen months after I shared my own phone box find. Returning to it now, I had the same giggle and I hope you enjoy it too.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.
Great find! I’m sure the driver doesn’t realise what he’s missing.
