How on earth did I end up hooded in the woods? Perhaps it isn’t really that surprising, I mean, it’s certainly not the first time! But in a sparkly latex ballgown too? And with the wind whipping my hair into an unruly tangle.
We’d booked for a four hour shoot, latex in the forest was what we had planned. The weather wasn’t looking great, but nor was it looking too intense. The forecast was for a window in the rain before the wind picked up in the evening. As we were meeting from ten ’til two we decided to push on with our plans. His raincoat had a hood and his camera was waterproof. Plus, I’m a hardy soul. As we shot the first set I clambered in the trees in little more than a little latex dress and walking boots. But as the trunk began bending in the every strengthening winds we reassessed the situation. We would need to move along if we wanted to get a second set in.
And so I slipped out of one outfit (as best one can when the little latex dress is welded in place with sweat and you’re changing in a carpark) and into another. We paused in his plush car, thawed out as we discussed ideas, and moved along. With my hair smoothed into place and my latex gleaming I stepped out of the car, and padded barefoot through the woods before stepping into my killer heels. Promptly sinking into the soft forest floor. Soon I had the air of a wild, hooded woman in the woods with an unruly mop fighting for freedom.
After two hours of battling the elements we climbed into the car and created some interesting pictures inside the car too, before ending the shoot early after three hours. It was utterly exhilarating to be out in the wild, at the mercy of nature in high winds and driving rain. And we got some great images. But for us two hooded figures in the woods, we were both relieved to call it a day.
Hooded In The Woods is my fifth post for the Model Behaviour week. The first theme for my February Photo Fest 2022.
2022 is my third time participating in February Photo Fest. February Photo Fest 2019 was my first, with my second being February Photo Fest 2021.
And if you’re wondering where this gorgeous hood is from, check out Ultimate Slut.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.
I’m absolutely in awe of the wonderful photos you post. This is brilliant xx
Thank you Julie. I’m wondering if I should have saved photographers week for later in the month though! I don’t know quite if selfie week is going to live up to expectations! X
As the old saying goes, “no pain, no gain”. You have apptly shown you endured for the benefit of your followers.
It was a fun shoot, even if challenging. Always great to build experience!
It’s like there’s a whole story going on in that single photo.
It pulled me right into your scene.
Thank you.
I wonder what the story is that you’ve seen in the picture. I love how subjective art (dare I call it that) is.
This is such a descriptive image, a whole story in one photo. Fantastic!
I’d love to read the story this picture prompted. Perhaps one day I’ll sit down and do it myself?
I was about to wonder how I could do something similar but none of my hoods have eyes which is just a risk in the woods!
Maybe getting into position before putting it on? Or putting 100% trust in the person leading you. (And trainers, I recommend trainers. Heels and barefoot are less than ideal in the woods in a storm!)
I love this, you do indeed look wild and almost savage.
Molly
This mask will completely change your face. As if another person is in front of us.
This is a completely different person. Not the one we know. Nice photo.
It’s surprising, isn’t it. Such a change from the soft, smiley me you all know.
