“What matters most is how well you walk through the fire”
~~Charles Buckowski
Buckowski may well be a challenge with his mysogynistic life (and writing) style, but he is also so wise. His world view is tempered by his start in life, the difficulties he faced that no child should have to endure. The quote I’ve shared for day 1 of the challenge has helped me manage my recovery from domestic violence with grace and determination. I fully appreciate that many of you may prefer to not celebrate his works. However, I personally like to see things through an alternate lens, it helps me to understand myself, and others, so much better.
