I was a little late publishing edition 146, but I am back on form with Elust 147. There are so many wonderful posts on offer this month, more than last month. I’m so pleased to see Oz’s hard work paying off as the monthly digest continues to grow. Last month he launched a competition for those who submit an article, and I was really pleased to see Sir Thomas winning the contest. (More on that below) Without further ado…

Welcome to Elust 147

Congratulations Thomas, The Cunning Linctus, winner of the Monthly Elust Contest for February. Thomas chose to donate his £50 GBP prize to SWOP, Sexworkers Outreach Project.

SWOP is Australia’s largest and longest established community-based peer education sex worker organisation with a mission to provide New South Wales sex workers with the same access to health, safety, human rights, and workplace protections as all other Australian workers.

Elust is the only place where the smartest and hottest sex bloggers are featured under one roof every month.

Whether you’re looking for sex journalism, erotic writing, relationship advice or kinky discussions, it’ll be here at Elust.

Want to be included in Elust #147? Send in a post anytime and I’ll add it to the next edition.

Please subcribe to email updates to receive two emails per month from Elust. A reminder once a month on the 1st to send in submissions and a copy of the latest edition of Elust on the 15th of every month.

Sex News, Opinion, Interviews, Politics & Humor

How Many People Use Vibrators? +11 Vibrator Statistics I love statistics, ad found this piece fascinating. If you’re squeamish maybe skip the first of the 11 interesting vibrator facts.

Erotic Fiction

An Unconventional Valentine This is a fantasy I’d love to realise. Perhaps I’ll get lucky some day soon.

Droit de Seigneur 29 If you’ve not read any of these before, I whole heartedly recommend starting at the beginning and reading through, although this does stand alone nicely. The heirarchy is developing beautifully between the characters and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Third Sun A captivating read. “Her own fingers trailed under her skirts, and she was wet as the rain her former husband so often withheld from the humans.”

Moon Feather: Part 26: Ask Pretty Another fabulous chapter combining kink and history. ““Ask me ta punish ya, Jaybird. Make sure you ask real pretty too.”

Female Domination Mistress Swears She is Driven by Love! Delectable and dark illustrations brought to life in vivid technicolour by Sissitrix’ words.

Teaching the Alien BDSM If you’ve been wondering how to teach an alien about BDSM then you’re in the right place. Liz Black’s erotica always hits the right spot for me, I hope you enjoy this too.

Mutual Satisfaction Short, sweet and to the point, there’s no messing around with this one handed read.

Erotic Non-Fiction

Commissioned Painting of Goddess Severa by Dirk Hooper I love art, and Dirk Hooper has a real talent, he’s captured Goddess Severa’s essence magnificently.

Rainbow in the Dark When erotic words mirror your own world you know it’s a good piece of writing. “Don’t forget that you are Nothing without Me.  I am your Rainbow in the Dark.  Your Beacon in the Night.”

Dear Dolly – a Jolene Fanfic piece Not only is there a link to a new (to me) podcast but Tabitha Rayne has had some of the same wonderings as me around Jolene… Excellent reading!

Nyotaimori Lillith Avir shares her explorations in Nyotaimori, being the centre of attention and Sushi!

Sex Work

Culture & Debauchery in London Alissa has bumped this kind of debauchery up my bucket list priorities somewhat. A hot read indeed.

Bathtime Not the kind of bathtime I was expecting when I clicked the link, but I think I prefer this to sensual bath play.

Duo with Maîtresse Nuit Oz has such fun adventures, and I love Antoinettes style: “Antoinette responded to the strap on to the fore and penis to the aft by opening her mouth wide and reaching back with both hands to spread her cheeks respectively.”

Thoughts & Advice on Kink & Fetish

Let This Wolf Devour You, The sheep… A great interview with Miss Monica Wolf, who shares some advice I think is relevant for all, not just pro-Dommes: “Do it because you truly enjoy it, do it with a meaningful purpose.”

Dungeon Etiquette 101 A really useful read for anyone thinking of attending events. House rules may vary, always check with your event hosts, but these basics will see you in good stead for the most part.

“ESP ON THE BUTTOCKS” – first chapter of a book Is BDSM really the last taboo? Maybe.. See what Bbulous has to say on this.

Thoughts & Advice on Sex & Relationships

The Lost Art of Phone Sex This provides food for thought. As someone who often feels deeply humiliated by my voice there is a selling point for phone sex, but could I be brave enough. Maybe with this basic guide.

Building a Mono-Poly Relationship, Maybe? Commitment comes in many forms, even if it doesn’t match up with societal expectations.

5 Ill-Advised Items I’ve Used as Sex Toys (& What I Should’ve Used Instead) I’m shocked, I’ve not used any of these! (Now I’m thinking back on my own list of ill-advised pervertables with a big grin. Perhaps there is a post there one day)

Books and Movies

The Lineage & Ancestry of Queer Kinky Erotica I love the list included in this piece. New names as well as familiar ones. It has given me cause to think on my own additions.

Book Review- Neon Gods by Katee Robert (2021) I now have an additional title on my TBR list!

Writing about writing

Communicating With Other EROTICA Writers Such a great post to end on. A timely reminder that together we can achieve so much.

Elust 147 is the latest addition to my Elust archives.

Perhaps you’ll enjoy this post too? Elust 138 was Oz’s first month at the helm of the monthly publication.
