I was out and about the other day and bumped into the photographer who took this photo. As it turns out I’m about to meet him in my timeline- even though I’ve already shared some of his images- like this one. I didn’t want to get ahead of myself, so rather than sharing one of the last images from that shoot I decided to use a negative spin in order to produce a mildly creepy edit, all ready for Halloween!
My brain took the word “negative” and went running off on a whole new tangent.
No surprises there, right? There was a person in my world for a while, he was always keen to put a negative spin on things. They absolutely detested my positive mindset. No matter. We were clearly incompatible, but this image and train of thought sent me running off down the rabbit hole towards thoughts on negativity.
I consider myself to be a bright person.
However, I’m often reminded by Sir not to think the worst is going to happen when I am planning tasks. Self-fulfilling prophecies really are a thing and he doesn’t want me to make barriers for myself by thinking I can’t do it. After all, he never asks anything of me that is beyond my ability. Over the years I’ve come to think of the obstacles less as barriers. Obviously they are still there, wouldn’t life be boring if they weren’t? But now they just add to the journey, like roots on a technical stretch of forest trail. I’m not truly alive without a little risk!
Being positive doesn’t mean ignoring the negative. Being positive means overcoming the negative. There’s a big difference between the two.

A Negative Spin On Things has been shared for Sinful Sunday. Click the lips to see what everyone else is up to. You can see more of my work with this photographer in this past #SinfulSunday post. Take a look: BDSM Is A Game.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.

Wow. I really like this is
Thank you JankyB. 😊
That is such a cool edit.
Thank you Bee. I’m just starting to gain a little confidence in this area.
Urgh negative energy like that from another person can be so challenging and it can often take a while to recognise.
As for the image,,,, it is so perfectly creepy

I’m getting quicker at recognising these things. You know what they say… practise makes perfect!
Just like my attempts at edits. I’m getting there with achieving what I’d like to.
