Pretty In Pink And Purple

The summer holidays are steaming in at full pelt. With this in mind I thought a spot of self-care was in order. Taking some time to feel pretty in pink and purple is a pre-emptive strike on a busy/stressful six weeks. Top up the stores now and keep (nearly) everything crossed that I hold out!

Actually, I know I will. Like every summer my two little(?) chaos makers travel to their dad for two weeks. So all I have to do is survive enjoy two weeks before I top up again. Ah, the joys of being introverted! But today I feel pretty, and it’s so nice to have a non-wired cup for my small breasts. I can’t stand underwires at the best of times, and when I’m throwing rope at myself they are less than ideal! (You can see my thoughts on rope-worthy underwear here.)

This is only the second outing my newest ropes have had since I dyed and conditioned them. I’d coveted the dye kits for many, many months, finally unable to control my fingers from making the purchase. And now I am the proud owner of a set of hand-dyed hemp ropes. In purple! Just in time, as my gorgeous green ropes are starting to get tired of being used. Plus, it goes better with the pink of my lace than the green ever would!
