I love where I live. When I chose to move here the choice was an easy one. Each time I think “I’m so lucky to live here” I have to remind myself that I put my little family here and so lady luck has no need for a clap on the back. The beach and the moor are so close, the town is big enough to have everything I need and there is a great kink community nearby. However, there is one thing that has been frustrating me over the last couple of years. I haven’t ever seen local driftwood.
And there should be.
Why?
Because I wanted to find it for my scavenger hunt…

Well, on our list of potential locations for the trip SWL and I had included driftwood- just in case. And you should have seen our faces when we saw the beach, littered with beautiful, gnarly trunks, sun bleached and smoothed down by the water.
There was a lot of waiting around. Summer at the beach is always going to be busy, even with the inclement weather that we had ordered. This beach was just littered with beautiful large lumps of driftwood, just waiting to be captured for my hunt.
It seems that I am not the only hunter who hasn’t been able to find local driftwood. Not a problem for them though, Sub Bee’s post Drift Away captures the moment beautifully. The sunshine comes from both the weather and the mischief of their find!

Oh I feel your pain with this one. When I wasn't Scavenger hunting there was driftwood everywhere. When I needed some...nothing!! And why do people insist on hanging around it when it finally makes an appearance *laughs*
I think they must be having the exact same thought process as we do "why can't they just go away so I can get my bits out for a picture" 😉
The driftwood is good. But for some reason the dog turned away.
