Look, look! Do you want to see? I have rope, and I will travel! Life is so much happier when I have a hank in my paws. And when I’m off adventuring it’s even more exciting.
It’s rare that I spend any period of time without having something to hand to tie myself up, including trips away. Where else can you lay on crisp, white linen and catch your skin glowing in the bright, often hostile, ceiling light?
I tied this harness in order to share the munter hitch for prompt week. But this picture was crying out to be shared alongside the hitch close up. At the time I didn’t want to detract from the beauty of my favourite friction. Now, however, I’m ready to share.
It has been a quiet couple of weeks here on A Leap of Faith. I’ve been travelling and making new memories to share further down the line. I’m looking forward to being back in the routine of writing again.

I won't say it is easy, but once you get the rope flowing through your fingers it is straightforward enough. Youtube has some great tutorials, i find setting the videos to half speed very helpful!
