Needles, a hard limit turned curiosity. Curiosity turned exploration, turned hard limit. This hard limit turned back to a curiosity, now a… “please Bunny, please stab me”. I’ll write more about this in the future, but I can’t get enough of this photo, so it seemed unreasonable to keep it hidden in my phone.
Only one song from our playlists works for this picture. System Of A Down’s Needles. It doesn’t reflect the joy of the evening, but it ramps up my heart rate in the same way as having hole poked in me does!
Music has always been a big part of my world, and over the last few years I’ve been building a Spotify playlist of songs that inspire my kinky brain. Coupled with my ever growing family playlists, where I’ve been introduced to new tunes (some being better than others), and talking tunes with friends – old and new, I thought it was about time I used that inspiration for good!
I have recently changed jobs and find myself with even less time!!! But I promised myself – in the post “Packing Up Or A Special Delivery” that I would do my best to share for February Photo Fest this year. So I hope you enjoy my efforts. Perhaps you’ll find a new musical genre to enjoy! Please let me know in the comments any alternative pieces that would work for the picture. I’m always happy to add new songs to my playlists.

well pinnned for sure
It's amazing how things we thought we'd never try become things we love, and the cycle repeats! It's great to have a safe place (and person) to explore in/with!
Your honest reflection on the evolving journey with needles is both powerful and thought-provoking. It's inspiring to see how boundaries can shift and become foundations for deeper connection and trust. The photo perfectly captures the raw intensity and vulnerability of the experience. Thank you for sharing such an intimate moment and fostering an open, meaningful conversation about personal exploration.
