For my 80th Scavenger Hunt location I thought I would take a break from the damp and chilly summer holidays, instead stepping back in time to an Easter running adventure. I love to explore, and didn’t fancy the loops SWL had suggested from our parking spot. We’d done them previously and I am really not a fan of short laps. On this occasion I asked her to trust me that I could get us back to her car, that it would be fun, and that if she didn’t fancy joining me I would meet her back at hers when I arrived. I was certain she would have a great time, if only she would be brave.
In the distance, on the top of the next hill, were some architectural spikes poking out from the tree line. I was convinced it was a church. She thought not, but as her eyes needed testing we decided to take a closer look. Descending into the valley we took off our shoes and paddled in the river, the icy cold water refreshing our naked feet. Before long we were back on the path, climbing now.
At the top we crossed paths with a woman, she was walking to her horses. We described what we were looking for and she pointed us in the right direction. “Up the path, through the first field and round the second until you reach the gate. You’ll find the churchyard and,” pointing at the blazing sun, “shade!”
“You realise what she said, don’t you?” I asked. Noting her crinkled eyebrows I said “We have to go through the first field,” and wiggled my own eyebrows in response. She knew then, and laughing we climbed some more. After chatting to the sheep and exposing myself we continued. Finding the gate we stepped into a stunningly beautiful graveyard. A real piece of history. I do love a graveyard, trying to respectfully craft stories for those who rest there is something I love to do. All too soon it was time to leave, make our way back to the car.
Stepping back in time to 2019 I want to share a wonderful post from a lovely couple who used to participate in the hunt, Purple’s Gem found themselves naked (or rather Gem did) in the field of view. I love their blog, and can’t recommend checking out their adventures highly enough.
Stepping Back In Time is the latest addition to my Scavenger Hunt adventures. Running trips offer great opportunities to find locations such as this one: Exposing Myself In A Field Of Corn.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.
