Today is the first of May, and I want to tell you that I am relieved A-Z April is complete. It was a long month, and it’s not been smooth sailing, as I had planned. But I stuck it out, and have completed my second month long challenge of the year. And CHALLENGE is exactly the right word. I have had so much support from wonderful bloggers and for that I am grateful.
“I feel so relieved. I’m very proud and thankful.”

Taken on a recent trip to Dartmoor with Loki where we created my post for Y, which is possibly my favourite image from rope time with Loki. He caught a quiet moment of me landing from a great rope session. And that’s where I am today. Landing from an intense month where self-doubt tried to creep in.
I had a plan, and stuck to it, much like for my February Photo Fest, but this time was also about the words, and as rope is my happy place I really wanted to get it right. Share that love here on my blog, and hopefully inspire a few others to take up the hanks.
After all, if I can do it…
Talk about pressure!
Don’t worry though, I haven’t lost my love of rope!
I’ve had help from some wonderful friends to complete this challenge. I want to say a huge thank you to all of them, for letting me share our fun times here. I’m looking forward to creating many more adventures with them over the coming years.
Right, next stop is the A-Z April master list, I’ve got a lot of catching up to do…

Just LOVE this photo ... there is just something that keeps me scrolling back. Just LOVE it ... those rope marks on your leg, the discarded rope to one side.
Just LOVE it !!!

Wow...I had not followed along for the whole challenge and just now went back - you should be extremely proud of what you've done! I can understand relief, because, wow, what a lot of pressure yo put on yourself! - but also, you met your goal and succeeded (IMO) far beyond. Simply magnificent, all of it (plus I love this image.)
Well done, I have no idea how any of you managed to do the challenge.
I'm not sure I have much of a clue. And every time I do anmonth long challenge I say "never again" but then... I'm already wondering about June! 😅
I am glad that this month ended successfully. I followed your work closely and I can say it was amazing.
Thank you Lisa. Thank you for taking so much time out to stop by. It's been a pleasure to share a few of the things I love about rope.
You did a great job this month! Thanks for participating in A to Z!
Thank you for all of your encouragement. It's such a great project to be involved in and I've discovered blogs I wouldn't have otherwise.
Same here!
