During February half term last year, my boys and I went on a little trip. We stayed with family and so I had freedom to go out for a run. Having seen this waterwheel countless times over the course of my life, I was grateful for the fresh air and child-free time in order to capture it for my scavenger hunt. Who knew, a year later, I’d be sharing it as my 97th location?!
In stark contrast to the brown, boiling river, full to the brim after a winter storm, the sky was crisp, clear and a brilliant blue. Waiting for a dog walker to pass, I watched the eddies swirl while checking out the privacy. The building edges onto a narrow bridge. Fortunately I was hidden from view of the traffic waiting at the lights by a well placed and heavily branched tree. Once the woman and her dog had passed out of view I worked quickly between the lights to get the shot.
And with that I was off again. Following the river down to the sea, heading out along the cliffs before returning to town. Soon I was rejoining the river and heading back for a steaming hot shower.
I believe my attempt to capture this location was cool- winter weather pun intended! However, there is a woman whose picture is hot! Modesty Ablaze is never one to shy away from a wicked shot, and her post Water Wheel #WickedWednesday doesn’t disappoint.
Waterwheel Wonders isn’t my first post celebrating Boobday with a new Scavenger Hunt location. I’ve found another previously posted piece which falls in these categories. I think you’ll enjoy this one: Gardens With Boobs On Display.
From the story of how the barefoot sub became the woman she is today, to toy reviews, with a hefty dose of contemplation, a sprinkling of erotica and a LOT of nudity in between, you can be sure to find something to tickle your fancy at A Leap Of Faith.
Lovely to see … and thank you so much for the mention of my own waterwheels !!!
