Be A Rainbow

Bare legs bound in rainbow rope with the quote

I hadn’t originally planned on posting for this weeks Sinful Sunday…

…but while having my morning cuppa yesterday I followed a trail of crumbs on Fetlife and landed on a journal entry called 💦Spreading Pussies and Positivity Challenge!🌞

It is a positivity photo challenge a lady has set up to bring a little sunshine to the lives of those who need it, for while the restrictions are in place and beyond. She has asked people to join in with this through sharing an image of themselves with a positive quote.

Which led me to wondering what I could do to take part.

Try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud

~Maya Angelou~

If I’m being honest I hadn’t heard this quote before but I knew I wanted to get my rainbow ropes out, so I searched for rainbow quotes. And just as well I did as this is fits with my personal outlook.

If you get the chance to head over to look at the other posts there have been some stunning shares.

  1. Wow, I think this is my favourite picture of the week, or month perhaps (though I guess we’re only early in, haha) because it just lit up my face. You’ve definitely spread some positivity. I love what you did with the rope, the colours, how well it’s tied and the text on you.

If you want, you can tie it up to the meme, tie me up tuesday on my site so it gets a little more exposure perhaps? (You don’t have to!) Either way, thank you for sharing this, it has brightened my evening

    1. Oh, I’d love that!

I often tie on a Tuesday (self-tie Tuesday on fetlife) so this will be an extra incentive to give myself some rope hugs!

  2. That rope is absolutely beautiful, but it’s the words that struck me. Yes, we all should always try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud. Spread the love.
